Robot's fate at box office
by Karthik Mahadevan on Apr 30, 2008 05:44 PM

I like Rajini films but there is something terribly wrong with the new film 'Robot'.

the superstar had performed vyer well in his previous flick 'Sivaji', but everybody knows that it was not for the story or for Shankar's directorial skills.

there was so much hype about the film. media made it sound as if you are not a human being unless you watch the film. that was the only reason why it ran.

director Shankar has completely run out of ideas. he knows only two things- corruption and one man's battle against it and for providing free education. he also is known for taking a longgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg time to complete his films.

if he launches Robot in the second half of 2008, you'll ahve to wait until 2009 diwali to see the film. by then aishwarya will be playing grandma roles in Hindi.

this time, hype wont work. so, rajini better make sure that the idiot Shankar comes up with a good story.
