All those comic book capers, those devices about a grey character turning out to be good, retired cops saving the day, some lawyer mouthing platitudes, an ubiquitous black character who is alarmingly loud, a woman who suddenly discovers her sexuality when confronted with a 'charming' middle-aged man and what about an almost bollywood style film like Pearl Harbour or Moulin Rouge. If you have an iota of intellectual honesty, criticise these aspects in Hollywood. And then we will talk. It is very easy to criticise your own and much too difficult to see where you really stand.
