Some things the South can teach
by Anil Gonsalves on Nov 08, 2007 04:17 PM

Some teacher-student relationships which are neccessary:

Mohanlal teaching Amitabh on acting

Shakeela teaching Rani on acting

Adoor/MT/Aravindan teaching Bhansali/Gowarikar/Kapoor/Gadhvi et al on directing

AR Rehman teaching Shantanu Moitra/Kirkiree on lyrics

MS Subbalakshmi/Shankar Mahadevan/KK/Shaan
teaching Babul Supriyo/Kumar Sanu/Shreya Ghosal/Lata Mangeshkar on singing.

Some other thoughts for teaching:

Hyderabad teaching Patna how to manage infrastructure, build world-class colleges like ISB.

Bangalore teaching Lucknow how to create IT and how to build good roads and first-class public transport system, garden city, colleges and good work culture.

Chennai teaching Delhi about safety of women, safety of people in general, respecting women, providing welcoming, warm welcome to outsiders-unlike Delhi, where they are very unfriendly towards outsiders and non-North Indians in general.
