Amna Qamar - Cheeni Kum comment

I give Cheeni Kum 5 stars. This movie not only had the best cast in Bollywood, but the storyline was very unique and an attention grabber. This is not always the case in some movies such as Salam E Ishq (Excellent cast, but not a great movie). The director of Cheeni Kum did an excellent job by putting to light one of the realistic situations in society that many people face today. The scene-setting and the music were all appropriate for this mature and artistically done film. A viewer thinks to himself/herself, what would Buddah (played by Amitabh) do in such a complex situation he's in? What decisions and choices will he make? How badly does he want this and how far is he willing to go? These kind of popping questions keep the viewers in deep suspense. And to top it all, there's a tinge of comedy which lightens the mood a bit. Very romantic and contrary to the title very sweet indeed!! (Cheeni Zyaada :o) )
