Water is hyped up
by Ravi Burli on Feb 27, 2007 05:21 PM

Water is hyped up. Although primarily made for western audiences hardly anyone in the west watched it. Its box office collection is pathetic. It didnt even win an oscar and its leading actors are not known for acting. Probably she expects some dumb people in India will flock to the movie because John Abraham is there. I also heard there are songs and dances in the movie. What kind of serious realistic movie has songs and dances in them? It looks like a usual bollywood movie dressed up in a serious format. She has tried both things appeal to indian audiences through song/dances/John Abraham and also western audiences through the supposed depiction of reality. She fails in both, she is neither this nor that. No conviction in the movie
