And finally the entire story. Did any critic actually realize that the director is telling a story which is entirely different from the original Don and still using the same premises!!?? This story is not about nabbing Don's gang and then Vijay's problem of proving himself innocent. This story is about a wicked character named Don who is ruthless, cunning, shrewd, arrogant, and supremely confident of his abilities, and has don't mess with me kind of attitude. And how he turned all odds against him into his favor. It needs a lot of guts and imagination to do that, and Farhan Akhtar has done a wonderful job!!!! Be it his choice of cast, or music or the twist in the tale!!! I have full sympathy for Farhan and I believe it's our-all movie buffs' duty to stand by him when it seems that almost all media and critics have turned against him and totally overlooked his efforts as they are still under heavy awe of the original Don!!
