This movie Pyar mein Twist is a poor remake of National award winning Kannada film Preethi Prema Pranaya directed by the famous Kavitha Lankesh of Lankesh Pathrike fame.
The film Preethi Prema Pranaya was released in 2003. It revolved around the lack of companionship in old age and the feelings of aged. Dimple Kapadia was earlier contacted by Kavitha Lankesh for the lead role, but, somehow it didn't materialise. But, by that time, Kavitha had given the script of the movie to Dimple and now it is rehashed as Pyar Mein Twist.
