Human life or art?
by Karthik on Jun 02, 2005 11:10 PM

Is art more important than human life? There is no doubt that young chidren get addicted towards smoking because of
1- father or close relative being a smoker
2- they associate smoking as a sign of masculinity.

the second reason is more prominent and its main causal factor is the way heroes are glamourised on screen smoking. Tommorow, if we are able to prevent at least one student from getting addicted towards smoking, it is going to be more worthy than trying to preserve art. After what relevence does art/cinema have if there are no humans to watch it?
