I fully agree that communist philosophy is war of class but not caste and religion, but the way you said social culture of that state or country, pan-india it does not accept communist philosophy. in fact initially communist never agreed for participating in elections but considering pan-india situation they were reluctant participant. however in hindsight this is ok since they can speak their mind to all. But changes with time is must for all. operation Barga and land for sharecroppers was a good movement in seventies but anti industry was not. For a vast population we need industry as much as trade and agriculture. we need to feed each mouth irrespective of caste or religion.your perspective about cuba and venezuella are far placed. even in china do not look at sanghai,beijing,nanking,Guangzhou, the interior is in bad shape. anyone getting employment in city or major town needs to leave it within 3 years as per law.one has to have a permit to work in a city. we are not too bad in this mix but all leaders be it communist,mamta or even lalu,mulayam,mayawti,needs to change with time. we need to adjust to present reality and not have dogma of seventies.
