I've been a frequent viewer of the discussion board here on rediff. We all have some viewpoint or other on different topics/news posted here. Sometimes few threads are getting to personal and at the end reported abusive.
Most of the time we have been giving our view points, what we feel about that and not inclining towards exact solution to be given.
Instead of pointing finger to others, I personally think that we should see where we(individually) can help nation for that problem/topic. I want to start with me.
I feel Imports are the biggest losses to any nation. We do imports when we need something which we cannot produce and desperately rely on. Simple rule to be a rich.. be it a nation or an individual.. "Earn More and spend Less".
This topic is related to that "we are spending more", so I want to focus on how we can reduce the consumption of petrol and diesel.. and ultimately helping nation in some way.. Again this is what i can do: 1. Get a bicycle, Try to do max personal work on bike. I dont mind goin to office on bike if living nearby. 2. Encourage College/School students to opt for bicycles instead of motor cycles/scooters/cars 3. Encourage people to opt for Tanaga (Horse-cart)/ rickshaws, If there time permits.. This will def. be a better option than diesel/kerosene engines and environment friendly too
Every Individual (you & me) has to see how we can help our nation... and encourage/educate others who are aware of all this
