the problem is basic
by satya s on May 01, 2008 07:05 PM

Its true colleges can be pretty mediocre and the the majority of mediocre students can be a dampener for the few talents out there who missed out.

there are still some enthusiastic students out there who do intweresting projects on their own.

but the basic problem is to concentrate on skills and learning. when are people rewarded for learning asnd working on their skills rather than mugging their way to a grade? the system needs to reward people who try to master a subject more.

also some people have to focus on innovation and capturing the market through superior technology than the mindless rat race of outsourcing. Its these sort of companies who may give satisfactions to brighter minds with complex world beating projects.
