India was a good idea at the time of gandhi and british, we need not be hungup on it, we are independent now and we can reorganize to our will and liking. And have a clear sense of identity to present to rest of the world instead of utter confustion to foreign countries. I totally respect his nonviolent philosophy.
But the way Indians are behaving today selfishly and greedily in the name of US money and resources, belie the legacy of that great leader. We need practical solutions. To that end we need to reorganize the indian union on linguistic lines so that no group feels pressured by the other and english as the national language.
Especially north india must rise up like a phoenix from its ashes of destruction at the hands of islam and british conquest to regain its palce in comity of nationas.
