At the same time, the work culture needs revamp. It is inexcusable on part of managers to demand subordinates work for more than 8 hrs a day. It can not improve efficiency and is detrimental for everyone in the long run. High time some managers learn how to nurture pros. Most of the western world has much higher productivity compared to India even though they work 8 hour days.
