Demand and supply
by Fried Yakov on May 01, 2008 06:28 PM

The question is purely of demand and supply- as long as the economy has the supply of a large number of people with degrees who cannot be offered jobs commesurate with their qualifications and these people need jobs, the companies are going to play ball. The economy has to grow so that the demand for trained personnel far outstrips the supply- only then will the people get jobs commesurate with their qualifications. Also unless our burgeoning population is drastically controlled, thus limiting the supply, employers will always play ball.
