I will say one of the impressive article ever read giving fact about the newly qualifieds in India. The IT sector indeed needs students who are just having commerce or arts degrees. The reason is these areas have creativity in it nd students who take up such courses are indeed very much different then Engineers. I am myself an engineer and I know what job is done in these high paid IT companies. A Engineer needs something more than a repeatative tasks, a job where one can develop a product. Yes, there are such jobs but most are limited. Then why the companies are recruiting Engineers for even a Tea attendant job? They should clearly speak out to public that they want people with certain IQ or aptitude this can help students from wasting money in the expensive courses like Engineering/ MCA or MTech and help themselves in changing their attitude and approach to how a TASK is carried out in alternative and logical way.
