Do you understand the meaning of "appraisals"? there is a performance review done and besed on that a certain reward is given based either as a pay hike or a bonus or both.The appraisal also is against a per set goals, which again are supposed to be in line with the Organisational objectives.It also takes into account both the actual performance, training needs and ability to grow in the organisation(soft skills). Can you please show me what was your annual KRA, your performance against the same for last 10 years, the organisation's (GOI) performance against the stated goals etc? Pls dont write without understanding the meaning of what you write, so typical of a Govt employee! besided, this pay raise is not only for the defense sector!It applies to all employees of GoI. And, the money doesn't come from "some one up there". We the people of India pay taxes and that money is used for the Govt employees and therefore you are called the Govt servants! Have some respect for those paying you!
