Electric vehicles can be used in congested urban areas. Even more useful would be to use them to replace man-powwered rickshaws as well as the highly polluting auto-rickshaws (that run on 2-stroke engines. In fact 2-stroke engines must be banned as they cause more pollution and have poorer fuel efficiency.
