The Finance Minister has done the obvious thing to aid the agriculture sector. It appears that the threshold for eligibility was NOT thought through well enough as well as the difference of loans taken between the dry land farmers as those having irrigated land.
As they say the devil lies in the detail of the final promulgation and its impartial implementation. We all hope that better sense of equity prevails such tha all the needy farmers benefit instead of the rich farmers
