Your Friend must have given you a FAKE watch. Ask for the waranty card and reciept. Such companies they stand by their product and give 1 year warranty. You can get it replaced. As far as I know the cheapest cartier watch costs more than 1.5 lakhs before tax. Carier watch has been in business since 1847, and if the quality was not good they would not have survived.
