Good point. Just for the heck of it, if someone stopped caste based reservations in bengal(like no SC/BC/OBC reservations) and all merit, will it survive? I am sure there will be riots and strikes. No caste for marriages(particularly among upper castes) is not an indicator. Reservations otoh is
