also if the govt provides free transportation (or transportation at minmal rates) across india ....not only oil imports will get greatly reduced..... but also a very big BHOOOOOOT can be averted drastically. The BHOOOOOOOT OF GLOBAL WARMING. India should make compulsory the use of public transport and shold severely restrict the use of private vehicles ..such as two wheelers ...cars ...jeeps etc by increasing road tax on private vehicles upto rs 2 lakhs per annum. (i.e on two wheelers :100000 on four wheelers :200000)
