Eventhough the author has made several good points and his understanding of the Present World Scenario is excellent, his understanding of the past shows some US tilt.
India was not Pro USSR, it was non-aligned. US's view was that either "YOU ARE WITH US OR AGAINST US" and US did not accept the middle that we are with BOTH. Thus the perception India was with USSR. Author's statement on this aspect shows some US View.
