yes ur right his father was maharaja of travancore and he sent a treasure to him in OMan to become rich
happy
just to tell u the fact
leagally u were supposed to carry only that amount when u went abroad in those days as india didnt want its people to spend money abroad
Now after liberalisation and full rupee convertibility we dont mind indians buying foreign currency
