Traffic collision avoidance system must be made mandatory in airlines operating in india . It is the norm in developed countries . this prevents head on collision (or from any direction). it alerts the pilot team 45 seconds ahead of collision . i am not sure if indian avaition authotiry is enforcing this . it saves thousands of lives
