This shows the colonial mentality of Indians.We lack the respect we owe to our culture.Every body were up in the arms when the government wanted to change the name from 'Bangalore' to 'Bengaluru' saying that it hurts the cosmopolitan image of the city. Finally, it took an international company from Zurich to make our fellow Indians realize that we should be proud of 'Bengaluru'. Amazing, even journalists now are reporting using the term 'Bengaluru' for Bangalore. Wake up fellows, do not wait for another East India company to teach us what to do!
