Yes, if only big manufacturing plants, vehicles, etc will run on non-polluting sources. Right now the maximum carbon neutral fuel we have in the world amounts to about 1% of the total usage, so there is no source out there. On planting more trees, it always helps, but the only way big polluters like manufacturing plants, power plants, petroleum companies will make changes is when they have to pay for the pollution.
