Who is going to benefit
by Shyam on Dec 11, 2008 02:07 PM

First try to analyse who is going to benefit from such gadgets. Not the majority of Indians who live BPL. Not the common man who spends most of his earning in vegetables and groceries. Only the few who get extra money and have no means to spend it.

Secondly, the terrorists will first start using this and create more problem while our police will keep wondering what this technology is all about! So there is a danger in it. Then can have a conference with Pakistani bosses and show them live how they are exploding bombs in India and killing common man.

The pervert teenagers who use it more for sex pictures and keep downloading and forwarding more rapidly.

Any technology not helping common man have two square meals a day is neither a priority nor a pride. Our PM may be happy having happier rich people but he should strive to bring average common man above BPL.

May be many may not agree with me since we do not know what is squalor. One has to experience it to appreciate it.
