How many of us asked the Government to roll backto the earlier prices of Petrol /Diesel? remember, we are paying for a $147 a barrel while at present , it is only $127. How many of us realize this? The oil comapnies, the governement is not raising any issue about this. But if it crosses the marka gain, they will ask for a rise in the price. Another important news item i want to refer is the Honda Company introducing Hybrid cars. The government says it will impose the 105% excise duty on such cars, and will not allow the technology for small cars. I do not understant the calculation behind this, but how much amount of Petrol/diesel they are going to save , restricting the technology to a few cars? How many Honda Hybrid cars are there at present? If they allow the technology instead, we could have saved a lot of fuel. ONE CAN CONTEST WHY Iam concerned about the introduction of technology , instead of using public transport! But how many of us will listen to such advice? We want comfirts/luxeries at the cost of our environment, which in turn is affecting us a lot.
