BIO-FUEL FROM GRASS................
by jp madvaiya on Apr 30, 2008 06:18 PM

Why bio-fuel from grass, if it is food for animals ? There are so many plants and bushes not eaten up by either human and animal beings. Say Lantana, Hypomenia, Gajar Ghass, water lingtus etc. These can be used as bio-fuel through some little processes. These can be used in gasifires to generate electricity in rural areas. Above agro and wood waste are in abundance and can be used in gasifires by the rural and tribal folks living in forest areas. These people will have employment for collection of agro and wood wastes. The power generating units will purchase the same and use in gasifire to generate power. Gassifire has come up as a boon and requires extension in rural and adjacent to forest areas.

Government agencies should look to create combination of agro and wood waste, rural folk, gasifire erectors and power purchasing agencies.

There is immense potentiality in this project.
