ministers should forego salary and perks
by anand vikram on Apr 29, 2008 12:06 PM

This is just another example that the situation is beyond the government's control. It should have been better if the pm had asked his ministers to forego salary and perks and start paying rents for the bungleos that they are provided with. Before asking the industry to forego short term profits, the PM should have made an Inflation Management Fund and ask all his ministers to not to take any salary and allowances till the inflation rate comes under control. The money saved in this way should be used to provide subsidy so as to reduce the inflation. And this should be done without setting up any commission. !!!!!!!!!!
