Dear Friends
I hardly get excited with the likes of Neeraj Trivedi who is thriving in making names on others' efforts. He says that he is happy working in Sitamarhi.Has the Business Standard asked him how many days he has spent in Sitamarhi over last one years.Sitting all the time in Marwari Guest House (@Rs 5-600/- per day for staying) in Patna he just prepares plans and reports for the programmes .What Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh,an IRMA graduate did in the last two years in the field of child labour in Sitamarhi with the help of Mr.Sushil Kumar Singh,a Patna University grads Mr.Trivedi is just encashing them.Mr.Manoj Singh conceptualised and started the Gyanshala Programme for rescued child labours with full support from Dr.Rukmini Banerji and Mrs. Farida Lambay .He also started off classes for children working along brick kiln sites in Patna. The whole credit should go to unsung heroes like Mr. Manoj Singh and Sushil Singh and not to Mr. Trivedi who has just spent a week in Sitamarhi (and that too only in Dumra) and does data management by sitting in rooms.
Can the Business Standard ask Mr. Trivedi why the child labour team of Pratham Bihar is disintegrating after Manoj quit the Bihar Unit? Why is he not able to keep the motivation of the team high? Why does he not venture in the fields (Sonbarsa,Parihar,Pupri,Bishanpur,Gopalpur) etc.? Is it not true that he is just doing pschophancy of Mrs. Banerji and doing only paper works.
