This inflation is happening everywhere and it is global. But there is a big support to it from UPA govt also. UPA govt did not act when they had time to control the effects of the inflation. See how they handled the wheat crisis. They allowed exports and then imported lower quality wheat at a higher price. UPA wants to create scarcity everywhere. They give subsidy to people who do not deserve it (Like subsidy to cooking gas, diesel for luxury cars etc etc).
