First thing, right now needed is to scrap the PDS. It is total waste of public money. At every point, there is corruption and wastage of time and energy. The prime responsibility of the government is to maintain price line and provide job opportunity to all. It is shameful, to see a person standing in a que for getting few kilos of cattle feed. Do you want single bread earner (could be widow/elderly person) or school going child to frequently check with the shop for ration availability and stand in the que. Who will ensure that ration is properly weighed?
