Hi..I guess the 27K would be just the starting price. Considering the product category that iphone belongs, to, it would be a high-value, high-margin product at launch. But, looking at the mobile phone market, the price has to come down after some time. I guess Apple is well aware of this trend, and of the fact that they might have to reduce prices (forcibly) in later stages. So, they would like to recover as much profits in the first quarter of launch, as possible. rest would be bonus. It might be launched in India somewhere around October, starting Dassera and Deepawali. This time it would be like "iphones for presents, not Dary Milk Chocolate". As a watchful customer, I would wait till Jan-Feb next year till I buy my iphone. I already have one cell phone, and the iphone would be a kind of a LUXURY item for me.
