I am one of the early adopters of DTH, when dish TV introduced their service in India. I subscribed to their facility some time in 2004-05.
No wonder that dish TV is getting into a loss with such a pathetic customer service. Only after Tata Sky launch, these people started worrying about customer and upgraded their website and call center numbers. But it is still very difficult to get a resolution on issues from these folks. Hopefully things would change for better with more number of service providers entering the market.
