Old fallacy about population. Supply side issue is the main problem and agri growth has been stagnant while Purchasing power is gowing up. Super markers dealing in food items also contribute to price rise. Agri productivity has to improve and agri corporatisation to do that is the need of the hour rather than more socialism and money down the same drain. But i have no doubt govt. of any time except N.Rao will have the guts for such actions steeped in Garibi banao philosphy backed by freebie culture.
