Bangalore is the Smokgalore
by rahul mohanty on Sep 25, 2007 06:03 PM

There wasnt a single Sunday when I have to travel a bit by auto to my quizzes (from Indiranagar to K.R. Circle )that I didnt experience headaches due to that burning LPG from auto..... horrible traffic everywhere... even if it built all the flyovers they are not able to solve the traffic problem...this will only compound the pollution problem.... you can see from the plight of people and traffic on Hosur Road(Near the Bosch office)....things will only be solved whn people will realise that rather than competing on the number of fuel-guzzling machines they possess they must compete how not to convert this once beautiful city into a complete wasteland.... It looks more like a junkyard now even if we have all the trees and beautiful localities... they must make attempts in realising practices in using public transport or carpooling .... If you cannnot replinish the environment atleast one can make an effort not to destroy it.... Also the fact that Bangalore is the hub of all IT cities also make matter worse.... The government should levy heavy duties and cess for pollution so as to discourage further car owners..... Please its hight time that you guys realise that this is the only planet we got to live in.....only place to live in....
