Post Retirement
by George Mankottil on Oct 30, 2007 05:33 PM

Post retirement settling in a new place after several years of employment in various places is a good way of getting new acquaintances and if lucky a few good friends. Careful financial handling in the early days could help one to fit in the newly adopted living area without making any holes in the pocket. After a few months boredom is sure to set in unless positively engaged.

Could someone come up with some ideas about starting some charitable or commercial organizataions that have branches nationwide where such people could contribute positively. It would be beneficial to the giver and the taker. The organization could fix a pay that would enable those that cant afford to spend from their own pocket to fulfil their assignments. There are so many unutilized hands wasting their days at home. It would be a great help to society by making these people productive - especially in these days when there is a shortage of good hands.
