Builders cheat
by geeta ramani on Oct 22, 2007 05:41 PM

The CGSI or the BMC should make standard format agreement. This will avoid builders the chance of fooling the public to a great extent.
The builder/firm should be regd and the fotos of the Builders should be fixed.A non-compliant builder may not be allowed to construct another project. Prima facie cases of cheating, hiking of rates, increase in other charges, etc., should be summarily tried and punished by the CGSI/BMC.
Payments of 25% should be made only after 6 months of possession. The conveyance, regn, society formation, etc., should be completed within these 6 months.
These steps would to a great extent help the buyers.
