Indian Govt. should come out with a clear cut policy about the investments instead of giving piecemeal suggestions and clarifications.
Earlier there used to be a restricition for ordering ships abroad. The cost of ship abroad was 1/2 the cost of a ship made in India. Naturally any businessman wants to order a foreign ship. Then Govt. used to insist that to order a ship like that they have to order for one ship on an Indian Shipyard.
If what Govt.wants transperancy it should require the channelisation of the fund through the Nationalised Banks. Then there will be adequate transperancy.
