These hindi serials do not have any reality with the real world. Everything right from the clothes,settings,style is artificial. The main component is only glamour and nothing else. The actors are morons who seem like puppets.
In contrast, look at the tamil serials. Everything is natural and real life. A villager in hindi serial will look as if he is participating in a fancy dress competition. But look at the same characterisation in tamil and you will see the difference.
Be it cinema or serials, Tamil and malayalam film and television industry is way ahead in terms of quality, technology and originality of contents.
