Who the hell are these kiranas to dictate to the ordinary consumer whom to buy from? If I am spending from my own pocket, then **I** will decide whom I want to buy from, and no kirana should be dictating that to me. If the kirana wants my money, then he should offer me more value and make it worth my while. Violence has become the universal currency of the incompetents who don't want to offer enough to the consumer. You cannot dictate consumer loyalty through mob action and intimidation. That's why India is an underdeveloped country. Because those with least ability/value are able to dictate to those with most ability/value. You cannot dictate to me which restaurant to eat in, or which store to shop in, or which music to listen to, or which car to buy. If you want my money, then give me more value -- don't give me your kirana-dictatorship.
