RE:Nothing wrong with India
by Suhrud on May 12, 2007 05:28 PM

Very good reply. You are right. Our past was truly glorious. That is why, since Aryan times people have been migrating to India. Alexander, Timurlane, Mahmud of Ghori, Vasco de Gama and Sir Thomas Roe all came to India - mostly to trade, some to pilalge, a few to rule and thousands to stay forever. We are indeed a mix of more races in the world than anywhere else. And Hinduism, that all-embracing socio-economic philosophy has absorbed every migrant race into its social structure and offered its people a position somewhere within society, allocated based on their trade or their abilities.
