My case is totally different and the worst among all. My name is J Rumpa.I had applied for HSBC credit card and then received it in the month of Jan. Afetr i received it, i found a wrong name on it. It was on the name of Mr. Rumpa Jha inspite of Miss J Rumpa. I never swiped that card as it held a wrong name. HSBC people called me up for some queries and i asked them to cancel the card. In reply they said they will send some executive to my office and will get it collected there. I was new and had no idea how to cancel it nor i took it seriously. But after almost 6 mnths, on 11th June i receieved a cred card statement of Rs.18, 150/-. I was shocked to see that. I called them up and asked them wht it was.... they asked me to file a dispute. I did that 5 times. but they kept on calling me like crazy. they statrted threatening me, even i told them tht my case is in dispute. Later i had to complaint in RBI. But still it seems very confusing. I m unable to know wht will be done in this case? I have done no wrong, and will never pay them a single penny. Neone there who can help me out with this issue of mine????
