1) Reply given by Mr. sunil kumar mandal is totally wrong. one should avoid investing in NFO since it has 1) No track record 2) is more expensive given the advertising expenses of a NFO.
2) Please check performance of your fund with its benchmark as well as SBI-Magnum taxgain & HDFC taxgain for the same period. Also check what stocks the fund is holding.
3) after dividend the NAV fall proportional to the div. declared. Switch to growth option in case the fund has one.
