THe point is that they were right people at right time and possibly at a time when computers were much less understood.If you want to judge a company you should check two things- one new products and capacity foe new development secondly what would happen to it furthur two dacades down the line. HCL might be a good company but does it stand this test/ No software co can say that it does except perhaps IBM or Microsoft!
