Very good article. But it should have also listed down the behavior of unprofessional salespersons. It would help everyone relate with the article better.

Examples:

1.) It is difficult the get attention of unproffesional salespersons in crowded shops. They do not make any eye contact.
I think making an eye contact and being always alert is enough. There is no need to go to each customer and ask if any help is required.

2.) An unproffesional salesperson does not have any knowledge about their prduct/services. The customers sense they are dumb very early and then do not believe in whatever they say.

3.) Unprofessional salesperson just care about selling their product. So if a customer is inclined towards a bad product, they will say all good things about that bad product. And never let the customer know the actual facts.
This way, they may be able to make a sale once. But this is certainly not good in making long term relationship with customers.
