The government can do well to provide good working conditions to its own employees first ! In any case no one is holding the gun on someone's head to work in an IT company. The only reason a company exists is to provide profits to shareholders who invest money into a company and give it a "value". If a company loses sight of the basic fact - then it will shut down very soon and there will be no jobs for anyone. The rupee depriciation is a wakeup call for all software engineers to either have extremely valuable irreplaceable skills or try and get into another profession. If you can't do either , then your #alls are in the hands of your manager who will squeeze it at will and you will live helplessly, in pain and under huge stress. Your spouse will divorce you , you will lose mental peace and you will have no friends left. You will start hating your own shadow. I come accross and advice such characters almost every day.
