The campus recruitment, the salaries offered for a raw student just passed, lack of consciencsous effort on the part of the companies to hone their employees' skills- all sound like South Sea Bubble. The only damage it did was to inflate the cost of iving of those not in the IT industry. There is nothing wrong in the ruppe appreciating. It is a phenomenon dictated by natural fiscal forces and one should be proud of it. It is time the IT industry sets its house in order in ffering realistic salaries to their recruits commensurate with their worth.
