I like the idea of collecting tax from everyone.the Govt is not bothered about the earnings of "so called" SSI and there are enough loop holes for them to avoid taxes.
Appointing more tax inspectors will not lead to improvement of tax collection but on bribing and cheating only.
The Govt should take steps to cover all the unregistered business and levy them tax as little as 5%. Take Strict action against IT-dept employee if they found guilty of bribe, ask them to do their job religiously, vigoursouly and HONESTLY. i am sure the tax collection will be atleast doubled.
It is a "STINKING FACT" that we are part of a Corrupted society and the corruption is into the veins of every one.
IT IS NOT THAT WE DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH LAWS, WE ARE NOT HONEST EXECUTERS OF OUR LEGISLATION.
Let us not spoil the country and society by bribing. Please keep in mind "GIVING ALSO IS BRIBING".
